The Honda CBX sports motorcycle was introduced by Honda in 1978. With a 1047cc inline six-cylinder engine producing 105 bhp, it was the flagship of the Honda range.
In 1981 Honda updated the CBX and added a fairing and saddlebags. The brakes were updated to twin piston calipers.
The front forks were increased to 39mm, and the rear suspension changed to Pro-link with an aluminum swinging arm.
